Hepsia's File Manager section enables you to administer your website files using simple point 'n' click actions. Right-click contextual menus allow fast access to different file manipulation options, while convenient drag 'n' drop functionality will enable you to upload new files from your computer in an instant. You will also find integrated file editors and an image viewer. You will be able to pack and unpack files with ease too.
Fast File Uploads and Downloads
Working with the File Manager feels like working with your desktop computer. The built-in drag & drop functionality will permit you to easily transfer files between your personal computer and the server. Just select the file that you want to upload from your PC and then drag it into your browser window. The same applies to downloading a file from the File Manager to your personal computer. Moreover, you can download files and even folders to your desktop by pushing the Download button.
Easy File Editing Options
With the File Manager interface, you can create a new file or folder with only one single click of the mouse. All action buttons are conveniently placed above the file/folder list and you can edit your files with ease. You can rename or copy a file, move a file to another folder, preview the contents of a file or modify its permissions, erase a file, etc.
Handy Archive/Unarchive Functionality
With the File Manager interface, you will be able to pack and unzip all types of files. It does work stunningly fast - just select the files you would like to make an archive of and push the Compress button. You can even select the compression format (.rar, .zip, and so on). It is just as easy to extract the contents of an archive to a specified directory.
File Editors
With the File Manager GUI, you really do not need any third-party software in order to edit your files. There is an image viewer, which allows you to preview the contents of your image files to get an idea of how the images will in fact appear on the web. Additionally, you will find an array of in-built file editors, which will give you complete authority over your files. The plain text editor and the code editor are designed for more advanced users, whereas the WYSIWYG editor (where you can see all code changes in real time) is also suitable for technically inexperienced individuals.
